COME AND SEE!
Montessori Learning Collective has created a dynamic environment filled with opportunity. Our students are guided to choose activities and work independently at their own pace. Our didactic materials are self-correcting, stimulate curiosity, and engage children in their work. Freedom of choice and movement in the classroom foster independence and encourage growth and curiosity. Both fine and gross motor skills are used throughout the learning process enabling both physical and intellectual development. Exploration is encouraged in both our indoor and outdoor learning spaces with an emphasis on the natural world.
If you are considering the Montessori way of learning, we would love the opportunity to show you our school which is authentic to the philosophy, curriculum, and instructional methods developed by Dr. Maria Montessori. We know that your child would thrive in our community!

We follow in the footsteps of Dr. Montessori by giving all children the freedom to develop their full potential by providing a learning environment that celebrates independence, self-confidence, collaboration, positive communication, and multicultural education. We serve the whole child and collaborate with families as a vital piece in our educational team to elevate our community.
Our Mission & Values
Our Mission & Values
We value diversity and inclusion in our community members, within our curriculum and classroom materials. We believe in supporting all individuals in the community to become lifelong learners, and productive members of the community. We teach and celebrate Peace. Children are empowered to joyfully learn in a collaborative supportive environment. Our school celebrates hands-on outdoor education and seeks every opportunity to allow the curiosity of children to develop as they explore and experience all that nature has to offer. The children, educators and parents are a TEAM, a trifecta partnership in a child’s holistic education.
We are professional educators with the freedom to practice the Montessori method with fidelity to the curriculum, instruction and theory as outlined by Dr. Maria Montessori through AMI/AMS teacher training programs. Our team are lifelong educators who pursue continued professional growth with a passion! Staff members have advanced training in: Early Childhood Development: M,Ed, Elementary Education: B.S, Montessori 0-3, 3-6 and 6-9, RIE training 0-3, MACAR (Montessori Applied to Children at Risk) through the Shelton School, Yoga for Kids, Orton Gillingham reading instruction for children with dyslexia, etc.
We provide high quality classrooms and outdoor learning environments. Children utilize our 4 acre campus to explore all subject areas with an emphasis on science/botany/zoology/gardening/jr.master naturalist studies. Yoga, art and music are also integrated into our outdoor classroom spaces. Children are outside 1-3x daily in all weather! We believe a rainy day is an opportunity to splash in puddles and catch raindrops. The magic of a joyful childhood is enhanced with quality, creative, outdoor educational experiences.
